Minneapolis, MN

The Minneapolis Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs has joined Cities for Citizenship in 2018 as part of its goal of ensuring that Minneapolis is and remains a safe and welcoming place for all. By creating City projects and initiatives to support our immigrant communities, equipping community members with information regarding immigration developments so they are well positioned to protect and defend their rights, ensuring that the public is aware of City programs and community resources that support and strengthen our city and its residents, and encouraging civic engagement, the City of Minneapolis works to eliminate disparities and support its immigrant residents in participating in civic life and ultimately achieving the goal of U.S. citizenship
